Rev. Carol Wade is a graduate of Agnes Scott College and of Columbia Theological Seminary, both in Decatur, GA. A native of South Carolina, she lived in Nashville, TN, from her middle school through college years. Her brother still lives in Nashville. She loves exploring the mountains of north GA, eastern TN, and western NC, both by driving thru’ them and doing some hiking. She also enjoys ‘piddling’ in her flower beds, playing with her dog, reading, and keeping up with friends.
Carol has twin sons who live in Seattle, WA. Ben is married to Stephanie. She is a nurse who owns an agency for elder care. Ben is a chef at a local restaurant. Jonathan is pursuing his BS in computer technology and network design. He works in the computer lab at Seattle Central and works in IT support for the city of Seattle.
Carol was the organizing/first pastor of Faith Presbyterian Church of the North Georgia Mountains, located in Blue Ridge, GA. She served at Faith from mid-year, 2004 through the end of 2012, when she retired. She was called by FPC, Murray, KY, to be their interim pastor and served there from March, 2013, through May, 2014. She has provided regular pulpit supply for several churches within her home presbytery, Cherokee Presbytery, for the past three years.
